Prom

Anthony has been the Jr. class advisor for four years now, which includes organizing the "Jr. Prom" It is actually really fun. For those of you who were not raised in a small town Prom really is a community event. All the parents come and watch the Jrs. do a floor show it is pretty awesome to see them all doing a dance/waltz together. Anyway after that and the promenade everyone can come down and dance, from 2 year old to 85 year old. Now not everyone dances but quite a few adults grab their spouses and have one night to feel like a "kid" again. Last night was the first time I took Samuel and Savannah and they loved it. Savannah got to dress up in her "princess" costume and loved to see all the other princesses (she informed me, they're not girls mom they are princesses) Their are two banquet tables full of fresh fruit, pretzels, marshmallows and Cinnamon bears to dip in chocolate fountains.....I think that was Samuel favorite part. Savannah on the other hand really was Cinderella for a night, she spent most of the night dancing along the sidelines.

The Chocolate coverd marshmallows were their favorite! :)

Thanks for the blog invite. It was fun checking out all the pics you posted. I really liked the sidewalk post, because I felt the need to do the same. I'll have to show Cameron in the morning. The prom back drops look good this year. I heard today there is a 10 day stretch of bad weather then spring will be here to stay. See you soon. I'm glad I'm stuck here with a friend like you, for real.

Just a very weird looking kiss, I think she was trying to kiss his check and still look at the camera. :)

Looks like you had a great time.
There are definite advantages to living in a small town.

Parowan does the same small town prom. I have a picture of me at my prom dancing with my little brother who was in 6th grade at the time. So fun for your kids. I am sure they loved it.
