Heat Wave!!!

Yesterday was so gorgeous it got up to 20 degrees (positive :)) and we all felt like it was a heat wave. Anthony chipped some of the ice off of our drive way and built a snow fort for the kids in the front yard. Me and the kids had so much fun playing in it during the sunny afternoon.

Snowbird

Last weekend we went to Snowbird for the night. I have been going up there since I was a little girl but havn't gone the last few years because it seemed like to much of a hastle considering we have to drive 2 hours down canyons and turn around and go back up another canyon so that coupled with having babies and being pregnant we just havn't made the journey. This year I decided to forget about the hastle of it all and just go do it. We had such a great time, I'd forgotten how much I love it up there it brought back so many fun memories with my grandma and grandpa stewart. My kids loved swimming in the outdoor swimming pool while it is snowing and loved playing in the arcade. So I have to say thanks to my brother for keeping it in the family we hope to continue going for years to come!!

FREEDOM!!

Just one week shy of 10 months Kaitlen has learned to crawl. It has been so fun to watch her the last week and how happy she is with her new found freedom. She crawls down the hallway and pauses at each door and looks in it is almost like she is thinking "anything good to play with in there?" So far her favorite room in the house is Samuel and Savannahs....they are learning to keep there door shut otherwise Kaitlen tears all the books off of their shelf and they usually are the ones who get stuck putting them back. :) I wish I had a picture to post of her crawling but I haven't been able to find my battery charger since we got home from Christmas......I'm hoping it just got left at my moms.

Routine

After 1 day of unpacking/organizing, 2 days of laundry, and a day at the grocery store I am hoping that by Monday we have recuperated from our 1 1/2 week vacation with family and can get back into a routine. Samuel & Savannah are in shock, no more grandmas candy, present opening has ended, no late nights playing with cousins, no grandparents to bail them out of discipline, basically they are in kid prison.....stuck with there mom 24 hours a day!! We are surviving though and hope to be back to normal soon.
Kaitlen however couldn't be happier she has her mom all to herself again, no more running around. Life is good as a baby in "kid prison"

Christmas Vacation

Like many of you we also had a great Christmas we always come home in awe at how generous our families are to us. The 9 day break was filled with many events from snowmobiling, sleding, movies, shopping, and late night game nights. It was so much fun! Santa found the kids at Anthonys parents house, they were so happy that santa remember what they wanted.
