DestructO

Is it because she is the third child and my parenting has become somewhat less attentive, or is it because she has two older siblings who have more interesting toys to get into, or is it just the way Kaitlen is? Whatever the reason I always have to keep one eye on her. The funny thing is if she knows she is doing something naughty....(like unraveling all of the dental floss) she will shut herself in a room so she won't be discovered. If things are quite for even 5 minutes I know she is up to something. I really hope she grows out of this before the baby comes or our house is in for trouble.

You might be asking yourself, "why doesn't she just hide the markers and crayons?" Oh I do! the markers that did the artwork on her face were up on my craft table, she slide a box over to the table, got them down, undid the zip lock bag and began creating the masterpiece on her face.

The kids found her one evening licking the bathroom door when I went in to see what was going on sure enough the kids had gotten some toothpaste on the door days before and she'd found it and thought it was a great little treat.

oh Andrea, thats hilarious! Mikey does the same thing with the dental floss, he loves the minty flavor, I still cant figure out how he gets into the stuff so fast. She is so cute, I love the pics and even though its frustrating as a parent to clean up their messes, its still so innocent and cute to see them be so creative. Hope all is well!

That is to funny! I really believe it is the third child thing! My S is into EVERYTHING! Your right, they know exactly what they are doing is wrong! Cause when I walk in the room where she has been in, The first thing she says is NO NO NO!

My S is a climber to, I'm always having to keep my eye on her.

All I can say is hold on and enjoy the ride!

I feel your pain...and laugh because my little Kendal is so into everything she shouldn't be. Just today she squirted out the entire bottle of aloe vera gel on the bathroom floor.
Magic Erasers are my best friend!

What a HOOT! I was beginning to think that boys are the only ones that cause such mischief, so I am happy to know it is girls too! We definetly have had our share of art work on the walls. I am glad you are able to take pictures before you get rid of the evidence.

That is music to my ears!! My 2 almost 3 year old does very similar things. Why is it they can't just "play" with the toys like they are meant to be played with!! =) Someday we will miss the messes and the murals!

That is hillarious. I'm sorry to say it probably won't stop after the baby comes. My Gracie is the master of making messes. It must be the third child thing. Too cute of a girl.

This gave me a laugh. It is good to know I am not alone. My destructo is in a different way. Noah loves to pound Nails into ANYTHING! She looks so cute covered in marker!
